Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Expand your access beyond ADA University Library’s collection. If the materials you need are not available in our library, our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service can help you obtain them from other libraries.

How It Works:

  1. Request Materials: Submit a request for books, articles, or other resources that are not available in the ADA Library.

  2. Library Coordination: Our staff contacts partner libraries to locate and borrow the requested materials on your behalf.

  3. Notification: Once the materials arrive, you will be notified by email with instructions for pick-up or access.

  4. Loan Periods: Borrowed items are typically available for a limited period, depending on the lending library’s policies.

  5. Return & Renewal: Materials must be returned by the due date. Renewals may be requested if allowed by the lending library.

Benefits of Interlibrary Loan:

  • Access to a vast range of resources beyond ADA Library’s collection

  • Support for research, assignments, and academic projects

  • Assistance from library staff to navigate requests and borrowing procedures

How to Request an Interlibrary Loan:

  • Log in to your library account and submit an Interlibrary Loan request form.

  • Include detailed information about the material (title, author, publication date, etc.) to help locate it quickly.

  • The library staff will manage the request and keep you updated on the status.

Note: Some materials may have restrictions depending on the lending library, and delivery times may vary.
